Hey, There!
I’m Jen.
I’ve spent over twenty years helping women figure out what comes next.
It started by accident. I was working in university research in my twenties when I realized I was building a life that had nothing to do with the one I actually wanted. So I left, worked in finance while training as a chef, and eventually moved to Italy. That was the first time I learned that you don’t have to follow the script regardless of whether it makes sense to anyone watching from the outside.
It would not be the last time.
After the chef chapter, I was hit by a truck. Literally. A semi-truck ended that career, and during the long recovery I trained in integrative nutrition and started working with women on their health. That work grew into Thyroid Loving Care, where I coached over 150,000 women navigating thyroid, autoimmune, and hormone challenges.
My practice was thriving when I got knocked sideways with the most devastating challenge of my life – caring for my terminally mom before she passed at the ripe young age of sixty-five. So I sold it.
In between all of that, I became a mom. Which changed the work, and changed me. I realized I had a knack for business strategy so I reinvented again and helped women from Emmy-award winning celebrities to innovative moms turn their business dreams into reality.
Each transformation I made in those years taught me something about how women change, what gets in the way, and what actually helps.
Throughout it all, I did the deeper work. Years of training in psychology, transformational coaching, and lifestyle design. What I kept noticing was this – the women I worked with weren’t just dealing with their bodies or their businesses. They were dealing with their lives. Their identities. Their relationships. Their sense of who they were and what they were here to do.
Then I turned 50.
I had built successful businesses. A marriage. A family. A life on multiple continents. From the outside, I had what women work their whole lives to have.
Inside, I was exhausted, depleted, and began to think I was crazy.
The hormones were a mess. I wasn’t sleeping. My marriage needed work. My energy was gone. I was holding everything together for everyone else and slowly disappearing inside my own life. And I knew it.
So I did the work I now teach. Slowly. Imperfectly. With help. I rebuilt my body. I rebuilt my boundaries. I moved my family across the world for the second time, this time to Lisbon, because I wanted to live somewhere that felt alive to me. I rebuilt my sense of self, my joy, and my relationship to my own life.
And then, because this is what I do, I built Midlife Magic™.
I built it because midlife is the most consequential chapter of a woman’s life, and almost nothing in our culture prepares us for it. Because the women I was sitting with every week, in coaching sessions and at dinner tables, were all going through some version of the same thing. Because the kind of guidance I needed at 50 didn’t exist in any one place, and I had the experience and the training to put it together.
I built it because women in this chapter deserve real support, not platitudes. Real structure, not just inspiration. Real community, not just content.
What you’ll find in my work is a mix of warmth and honesty, science and intuition, structure and breathing room. I’m not interested in helping you optimize your way to happiness. I’m interested in helping you build a life that feels genuinely alive, on your own timeline, with the kind of support that respects who you’ve already become.
Along the way, I wrote three books. Women Were Never Meant to Live Like This, because too many of us are living lives that look right on paper and feel wrong everywhere else. The Midlife Comeback because your 40s, 50s, and 60s can be your most transformative, creative, and powerful chapters yet. And The Midlife Nervous System Reset, because you cannot make clear decisions about your life from inside a body in chaos, and most of us are trying to.
When I’m not working, I’m traipsing around Europe with my family, usually shoving my face with something delicious, and probably embarrassing my teenage son by singing too loud. I read a lot. I write a lot. I rest more than I used to. I’m still figuring out my own next chapter, the same way I help other women figure out theirs.
If you’ve found your way here, I’m glad. Take a look around. The Reset is for the woman ready to come back to herself. The Pivot is for the woman ready to design what comes next. The Reinvention is for the woman ready to keep going. There’s a path for wherever you are.
This chapter gets to be the most alive one yet.
I’d be honored to walk part of it with you.
My Mission
“My mission is to help women move through life transitions with strength and self-trust, creating lives that feel emotionally steady, physically supported, and spiritually grounded. I believe that when women feel good in their bodies and clear in their purpose, they become unstoppable forces of change in their families and communities. This work is not just about reinvention—it’s about reclamation.”
